Workshop Waste hydrogen and fuel cells – Creating value now – Brussels 22/03/2012

05/03/2012
This workshops, organized by FuelCellEurope on Thursday 22 March 2012 (10.00 – 17.00) in Brussels, will illustrate the sources of hydrogen as a by-product of industrial processes and debate the issues of quantity (market sizes) and quality.
It will then present the business case for the reuse of waste hydrogen, the lessons learned and future expectations, as well as concrete examples of reuse.
Programme:
Speakers and participants will discuss the following elements:
-
SET THE FRAME: the sources of waste hydrogen in industrial processes, the differences in quantity and quality of the by-product hydrogen;
-
CASE STUDY & LESSONS LEARNED: the lessons learned and future expectations for the reuse and valorization of waste hydrogen, the issue of its quality and how it influences the business case;
-
ADVANTAGES & BARRIERS: SWOT analysis based on the projects so far implemented in the field, the question of RCS;
-
PERSPECTIVES: concrete examples of successful projects for valorization of waste hydrogen, conclusions drawn and expected developments.
